Kaizen Competition 2018
On November 17th the Kaizen tournament was held. Approximately 500 members joined, with 14 teams competing. Many overseas groups (US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia) competed as well. The Tokai Tahara Sales Office, Vuteq Canada and Kariya Plant received excellence awards while Vuteq Thailand won placed first. Despite the high tension, all teams great Kaizens with many excellent presentations
Additionally, overseas members enjoyed a refreshing two-day sightseeing trip in Yokohama and Tokyo after the kaizen competition. We are very pleased that our overseas members were able to enjoy Japan and Japanese culture.
It is clear that the level of kaizen activity at each of the overseas plants is improving year by year, so we are very excited to see what is in store for next years kaizen competition.
