Sustainability Initiatives

Recognizing that the conservation of the global environment is an important issue common to all humankind, the Vuteq Group has been working to realize a sustainable society in harmony with the environment as a management priority.
In 2015, the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to solve environmental and social issues, and the role of companies in building a sustainable society is becoming increasingly important.
Currently, the Vuteq Group has selected priority issues for the SDGs in its corporate activities and is working to solve them. Through these activities, we aim to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and develop into a sustainable company.

Main initiatives through business activities

    Effective use of resources to reduce waste

    By recycling the plastic materials used for interior and exterior parts of automobiles, we efficiently use limited resources and reduce waste to realize both environmental protection and a recycling-oriented economy.

    Weight reduction of automobile parts to promote low fuel consumption

    To promote the fuel efficiency of automobiles, we are working on developing technologies to reduce the weight of interior and exterior parts while maintaining strength and heat insulation. We will also contribute to carbon neutrality through technologies that reduce environmental burdens.

    Establishment of a sustainable industrial base through technological innovations

    We are promoting new research and development related to automobile parts, such as weight reduction and development of environment-friendly recycled materials while maintaining strength and heat insulation. We also contribute to the reduction of energy consumption by pursuing the improvement of productivity in factories.

    We are contributing to people's health and longevity by supplying the nutritious and versatile superfood "spirulina." We believe that protein-rich spirulina will help solve food problems, as a future nutrition source.

    * "Spirulina" is recommended by the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) as the most ideal food resource of the future and by the UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) as the most ideal and most perfect food of tomorrow and is certified by the WHO (World Health Organization) as one of the best protein sources of the 21st century for humankind.

    For health and welfare

    We are promoting the provision of services related to health and welfare by developing outfitting and mounting such as the installation of wheelchair lifts as a business.

    Investment in solar power generation system

    We have installed rooftop solar panels at our Toyota, Miyoshi, Fuki, Arai, and Sagami factories to create clean energy using solar power generation systems. We will continue to promote investment in clean energy technologies.

  • Realizing safe, secure, and quality working environment

    We have obtained the certificate for "Production Contract Excellent and Appropriate Business Operator*" set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and are promoting the creation of a vibrant and comfortable working environment by practicing competence development and skill improvement so that each employee can maximize their capabilities in a safe and secure workplace.

    * As of April 2021, we are certified as one of 51 Production Contract Excellent and Appropriate Business Operators.

    To create a safe and healthy workplace, we have established the Safety Training Center, where workers can experience dangers, and provide safety training.

Environmental Policy

Ⅰ.Basic Philosophy

Vuteq Corporation is keenly aware that active efforts to protect the global environment are the most important issue common to all humankind, promote reducing environmental burdens and preventing pollution in all aspects of our business activities centered on manufacturing, and contribute to the preservation of a healthy global environment and the creation of a prosperous and comfortable society.

    Enhance awareness of save electricity and strive to conserve resources and energy.

    We will strive to prevent environmental pollution while making continuous improvements using the environmental management system.

  5. Communication

    We will strive to improve environmental protection by communicating with local communities.

  6. Dissemination and disclosure of the environmental policy

    We will disseminate our environmental policy to everyone who works at Vuteq Corporation and widely disclose it.

We are working to realize a sustainable society in harmony with the environment as one of our top management priorities. Since acquiring ISO14001 certification in November 2003, we have striven to continuously improve our environmental management system and will continue to work on reducing environmental burdens, preventing pollution, and raising environmental awareness amongst our employees.
